Coral reefs are one of the most biologically diverse ecosystems on the planet. Most of the biodiversity is small or cryptic, living unseen within the reef structure. This hidden community, known as the cryptobiota, are a vital component of coral reefs, an important food source for fish, and play an essential role in nutrient recycling.
BAITED REMOTE UNDERWATER VIDEO SYSTEMS
BRUVs are used to identify, count, and measure marine animals at different ocean habitats and depths.

Seabed BRUVs at <5m --70m depths (shallow seagrass, reef wall, & early twilight zone). In addition to species ID, measurements, and numbers, of particular importance, is capturing how high predator biomass may be associated with deeper, healthier, more resilient reefs.

GRAPHIC DESIGN
"Coping with Stress."

In stressful times, one employs positive or negative coping strategies. This woman walks away from unhealthy methods (e.g., conflict, poor sleep, and substance abuse), demonstrating growth and resilience as she cultivates positive coping skills (e.g., comradery, healthy sleep, and exercise).
Image requirements:
Create simple graphic of a gardener, summarizing "coping with stress" message, using specific colors, size, and a cultural angle (I chose a Ukranian woman planting sunflowers).
