With a nod to the Paris Climate Agreement, the painting goes further to show countries and diverse individuals working together to create a better, happier, healthier world. We are all connected...amidst the devastation, there is hope...amidst chaos there is beauty... and standing in the middle of it, weaving it all together--there is art.

“Liberty and Justice” aka “Tipping Point”: A combining of the Statue of Liberty and Lady Justice holding the scales which are tipping toward greed, political agenda, pollution, and the extraction and burning of fossil fuels, while our country, its people of mixed races and religion, and the environment suffer and are reaching a tipping point. This acrylic painting represents the breaking of liberty, justice, our nation, and our lands. Again though, if you look closely, there is an element of hope—in the people, in our nation. We can work together to make a difference.
“Scientists Muzzled”: Created in support of science-based decision-making and in response to political attempts to ignore and even muzzle scientists and debunk scientific evidence on climate change. This acrylic painting was based on the concept, “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil,” and it was then immediately used on t-shirts and sign boards in the 2017 March for Science in Hawaii with the words “See the Facts, Hear the Facts, Speak the Facts......and Listen to the Facts…”
